TUESDAY 16 MAY, 6.00 p.m., at the conference room of the ex Conservatorio S. Anna, Via Libertini, 1 in Lecce, there will be the presentation of CREATURE DI SABBIA, an articulated artistic residency project promoted by the Euro-Mediterranean Cultural Heritage Agency, which involves for the first time in Lecce young female artists from the Arab world and numerous local, national and international lecturers and guests on the theme of gender equality and women's violated rights, twelve years after the Arab Spring.
The project, financed by the Apulia Region - Department of Welfare, on the call Puglia Capitale sociale 3.0., is marked by a massive involvement of local and national realities, institutional partners and artists in a dense calendar of meetings, from 23 to 27 May, both educational and dedicated to the artist residency, and collateral events open to the entire community.
